"And he gathered them together
into a place called in the Hebrew tongue, 'Armageddon,'" (Revelations
16:13-16 KJV)
Armageddon is the ancient hill and valley of Megiddo, west of the Jordan in
the plain of Jezreel between Samaria and Galilee. It is the appointed place
where the armies of the Beast and False Prophet will be destroyed.
"And the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river, Euphrates,
and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings of the East might be prepared." (Revelations
16:12, 9:16-19 KJV)
This army of 200,000,000 is a military host coming from the Orient across the
Euphrates River. According to National Geographic, "Much of the Tigris-Euphrates
valley, where agriculture was born, is today salt desert."1
Jesus answered the disciplines' questions "when" and "what" about
his coming again at the end of the age with a descriptive prophecy of the abomination
of desolation in the area of Judea. (Matthew 24:3-35 KJV)
Take heed not to be concerned with this, as mother earth purges itself and
the children of darkness, in preparing a divine place for the children of
God to live for the next thousand years. (Revelations 20:1-3 KJV)
