| ABRAHAM: THE FATHER OF THREE TRIBES | ||
The
Twelve Tribes/Nations of Ishmael Hagar, the Egyptian handmaid of Abraham's wife Sarah, bore a son named Ishmael by Abraham. An angel of the Lord spoke to Hagar prior to Ishmael's birth, stating, "I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude. Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son and shalt call his name Ishmael; He will be a wild man, his hand will be against every man and every man's hand against him and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren." (Genesis 16:7-16 KJV) God spoke to Abraham of Ishmael, "I have blessed him and will make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly, twelve princes shall he beget and I will make him a great nation." (Genesis 17:20 KJV) After Hagar was cast out into the desert by Abraham, an angel spoke to her, "Fear not, for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is, for I will make him a great nation." (Genesis 21:9-20 KJV) Ishmael dwelt in the wilderness of the Paran (Sinai), and his mother took him a wife from the land of Egypt. Ishmael was the progenitor of the twelve tribes (nations) of the Arabs, Mohammed, the founder of Islam, came from the lineage of Ishmael. The Twelve Tribes/Nations of Israel God spoke to Abraham and said, "Sarah, thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed and thou shalt call his name Isaac; And I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant and with his seed after him." Jacob, the son of Isaac bore twelve sons which became the twelve tribes (nations) of Israel. (Genesis 17:19 KJV) The Six Tribes/Nations of Keturah After the death of Sarah, Abraham took a wife and her name was Keturah. She bore him six sons. (Genesis 25: 1-4 1Chr 1:32-33) These sons became nations who were neither Israelites (Isaac's descendants) nor Arabs (Ishmaels descendants). |

The tribe of Manasseh -- the new JerUSAlem, the United States of America -- in fulfillment of the prophecy became an example of the fruitful bough with its freedom-expressing, democratic form of government. The other nations of Israel, seeing this shining example, have accepted and are in the process of adopting this form of government. As mankind evolves into the next stage of universality, with the governments of democracies allowing their peoples to express their freedom and God-given creativity, the non-democratic nations of Israel, the Arabic nations of Ishmaels, and the nations of Keturah must change their forms of government or collapse. Quite possibly the Battle of Armageddon, which will be fought in the Middle East, will alter the consciousness and the forms of these non-democratic nations, for all the people of these three tribes/nations and are brothers, who must go into the next thousand years of peace with the commandment to "Love ye one another."
